Scott was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. He graduated in 2005 from California University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education. He worked in the school systems in Pennsylvania as a substitute teacher and later went on to work with children diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. He, his wife and his daughter moved to Charleston, WV in 2009 where he began working at WV DHHR as a family support specialist. In 2010 his son was born and in 2012 he was hired as the program manager at PC&A. As the Program Manager, Scott provides administrative oversight for the ICF/IID, CDCSP, I/DD Waiver and PASRR programs. Additionally, he is responsible for the Quality Assurance and data retention of these four Medicaid programs. In 2016 he obtained his Master’s degree in Special Education, with an area of emphasis in Autism, from Marshall University and now assists in Observational Site Visits for ICAP review for the ICF/IID program. He and his wife Alana have been married since 2005 and they have an 8 year old daughter and a 6 year old son.
